Our native Spanish speaking teachers present the language and culture through tailored activities that are all in Spanish in order to give your children the best chance at learning and speaking Spanish.
Date: SATURDAY mornings, from 10.45 to 11.45 am
Price: £12 per hour
Course content: Children will learn how to introduce themselves and others in Spanish, as well as express their wishes, needs, and desires. They are encouraged to interact in Spanish during the class through stories, songs, educational games and other fun activities.
Secondary-school-age children on Saturdays
We run small classes for those aged 12 to 18. These classes are led by native Spanish speakers and professional teachers and are designed to help students who wish to develop their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, including vocabulary and grammar. These classes provide the opportunity to speak, to improve pronunciation and to practice the conversation needed to achieve higher grades in exams. Classes are also designed to develop the skills required for the DELE (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera ) as well as meeting the requirements for British public exams (GCSE, A-Level, IB).
Date: SATURDAY mornings, from 09.30 to 10.30 am
Price: £12 per hour
Our GCSE courses on Tuesdays
We offer classes specifically tailored to students studying Spanish at GCSE level. We are able to understand and respond to the specific needs of each and every student. Small class size allows our teachers to offer personalised help, through providing lessons targeting the four skills tested in exams: writing, speaking, listening and reading. In order to reinforce learning we focus on studying the set themes required for exams: Aspects of Spanish-speaking society; Current trends and issues; Artistic culture in the Spanish-speaking world; Aspects of political life in the Spanish-speaking world.
Spanish grammar is another area our teachers focus on, placing particular emphasis on grammar to an appropriate level for exams (nouns, articles, adjectives, adverbs, quantifiers/intensifiers, pronouns, verbs, prepositions, conjunctions, number, quantity, etc.) Mock exams are used to test our students’ knowledge and aid progression on a regular basis.
Date: TUESDAYS, from 5.30 pm to 7 pm
Duration: 1 hour and a half
Price: £18 per class
